Our overseas correspondent

Hello everybody,

How are you all!!! Have just reached the end of my trip around New Zealand and fly to Sydney in a couple of days. Very exciting!!!!

How long is it to the show now? Hope it is looking good. Am enjoying all the updates I get about rehearsals!

Had a very drunken night last night in Queentowns after I bungied off a 400m cliff!!! Have decided that the combination of bungying and alcohol is just too much for me as it resulted in a water fight along the road at 3am, a rendition of Annie in the park next to our hostel and then waking up half the people in our hostel! Oops!!! I even sneaked up behind a couple standing in the street who were snogging shouted dirty and squirted water at them. I was very amused. Also had a touching moment in the pub when our bus driver said I was her favourite passenger ever!!!

Have had a very drunken and strenous time in the South Island. It all started with a fancy dress party at the infamous "Poo Pub". This party always involves a theme. Ours was boys cross-dressing and girls wearing bin bags!!! Me, Carolyn and two other girls dressing up as our bus driver which involved us dying our hair pink and putting it in lots of little buns. After a combination of far too much wine and vodka I ended up getting a bit over amourous with the driver of the other bus - Dionom amtes and the driver of our bus were all very amused when I crawled back at 8am still with my pink hair.

The next day we all jumped out of a plane over the Fox Glacier and looking over Mount Cook and survived. The perfect cure for a hangover. That night we had a reunion with all our friends that we had left behind on the North Island. It was great fun!!!

The next day we decided that it would be a great idea to hike across the glacier. This is a hike that takes 8 hours and is all over ice. Seemed like a good idea at the time, but not when our legs were spreadeagled on either sides of crevices. It was quite scary and my thighs so much after for days after, but hopefully they are getting more toned up. That night as we were so exhausted that we decided to opt for a quite night in in front of the TV - at least that's what we planned to do until me and my new friends Karyn and Beckie managed to consume two bottles of wine in a half hour period. We then decided to go to the pub and things yet again went horribly wrong and I ended up with Dion's best mate in a bus. Oops. I am never drinking wine again as I seem to be getting a world-wide bad reputation!!

The day after that I got a real slagging, whilst we travelled to the beautiful town of Wanaka. That night we had a pinic at the top of Mount Iron and sunbathed - it was lovely! I somehow managed to reach the top far quicker than anyone else. They were all very impressed with my fitness and energy!!

Pre-bungy yesterday I was very hyper and got up to such activities as telling all the boys on the bus that Flea our driver was gagging for a shag and they should go for it, stealing the keys for the bus and locking the driver out whilst sitting in her seat.

Anyway, better go as we're going to the cinema soon with a cute boy form our bus called Scott.

Speak to you soon,

Lorna xxxx
