Hello Everybody,
Greetings from Fiji (or Bula as the locals say!) Sorry about the group
e-mail again, but so much to do and so little time. Promise I will be better
when I get to Sydney!
Have been having a nice relaxing time here not really doing much except
sunbathing by the side of the pool - bliss. Needed to relax after our busy
time in Rarotonga. Going on jungle treks which involve wading through rivers
thigh deep and kayaking in tropical lagoons really takes it out of you!
Yesterday we went on our one Fijian excursion. We got on a boat and sailed
to an Island resort where we spent our time sunbathing on the beach! It was
very exciting though because we got to witness our first tropical rainstorm!
We also got to go out to the coral reef and feed the fish and a shark!!!
Fortunately it was just a little one!
We leave first thing tomorrow morning for New Zealand and are getting
prepared for the hecticness of trying to see a whole country in 3 weeks. To
prepare for this we are going to spend the rest of the day sunbathing by the
pool.
