Hi Society!
First of all, congratulations to all those involved in our production of Bugsy Malone at the weekend - I think it's fair to say that the show was a success in every way it could have been. Well done to all! If you're gutted that you couldn't be in Bugsy or maybe happened to see it and think that you'd like to join us, then read on! There is still a mountain of opportunity for you to do so.
This is just a quick (and quite last-minute; sorry!) email to let you all know about rehearsals for our Main Show, which this year will be The Wedding Singer, a musical 80s-fest based on the Adam Sandler film. For a sample of the music, click

If you want to take part, all you need to do is turn up to our first rehearsal, which is TONIGHT, Thursday 1st October, at 7pm in the Queen Margaret Union. We do not hold auditions for our chorus, so if you are at all interested, feel free to just come along and find out what we're all about. If you fancy auditioning for a principal part, details will be given tonight at rehearsals.
Rehearsals will continue on Thursday nights and possibly some Sundays until the show which will be performed in the Mitchell Theatre in the last week of February 2010. If you can't make tonight's rehearsal, don't worry - there is another chance for you to join up at the rehearsal next Thursday, same time, same place. And if you can't make that either, then just let me know and we'll see what we can do!
Hope to see you all tonight!
