Much of this news is accessible on the forum already, but as I've emailed it to everyone it's only prudent to put it here too, in a handy collated format!

Hi Society!

First off, hope you all had a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! I'm just here with a small reminder of a few things, which can be linked under a common theme: Carmen is fast approaching!

The observant among you will notice that a mysterious being named the Time Keeper has posted a link to a countdown on the forum. A countdown to what, I hear you cry? To opening night of course! As of me writing this sentence, it stood at 22 days and something, check it yourself at http://www.timeanddate.com/counters/cus ... sec=0&p0=0
It's quite scary!

So! I guess we'll need our asses in gear, eh? We will all be working overtime from the moment we return until the moment we can leave the theatre and attend the glorious aftershow. For a few very important words from our esteemed director, please head here:
viewtopic.php?f=5&t=201

As you should notice, our first rehearsal back is THIS SUNDAY 11th January at 2.30pm. As we are now so close to opening night, if you're not there and do not send apologies with a valid reason, you cannot possibly hope to be in the show.

And quickly before my Spanish internet time runs out, please be aware that Poster Day Mark II is THIS SATURDAY 10th January outside the QMU at 12noon. If it is at all possible for you to be there, please do so! We still have over a thousand tickets to sell, so get to it señors and señoritas, I know we can do it! Oh how cheesy, the weather must be getting to me. See you very soon; adios!

P.S. I saw an actual gypsy skirt in a shop here the other day. No joke. Actual. Gypsy.
