Right, chaps. Gloves are off:

In the Fifties - I Love Lucy was considered quality entertainment; and Korea had an entire civil war

In the Sixties - Cliff Richard was considered quality entertainment; and JFK, Martin Luther King Jnr and Malcolm X were all assassinated

In the Seventies - Terry & June was considered quality entertainment; and well-known dictators Idi Amin, August Pinochet, Joseph Tito, and Saddam Hussein all took power.

In the Eighties - Joe Dolce's "Shaddupayaface" was considered quality entertainment; and Chernobyl, Challenger, and Piper Alpha all burst into flames in varying degrees of spectacularly bad.

In the Nineties - The Simpsons, Friends and ER were and still are considered quality entertainment; and the Berlin Wall came down, Scotland got its own Parliament; and I joined Cecilians.

I think you'll find that the 1990s *clearly* win.
And that I've spent too much time on Wikipedia today...

not that I am supporting the 90's but, how can you possibly say that whigfield was not entertaining????????? whigfield was amasing!!!!! no school disco would have been complete without Saturday Night.

Having said that, the 90's are RUBBISH and clearly the 80's are the ones to win! xxx

The cancellation of El Dorado was a crime, I tell thee. A crime!

People of the 50s and 70s, you have new additions to your team! Now each and every team has ten members, so we are all totally equal.

In number that is; the ten best members are clearly in team 70s.

Woo!
