I've just had a thought - does anyone else know how to play Mornington Crescent? We could have a massive game here if a few people knew! I haven't played in ages but used to be something of an expert, if I say so myself! If you have no idea what I'm on about a basic introduction can be found here: http://www.dunx.org/mc/ or here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/A617744 I'd venture that we should play by the standard Thurgood-Hamilton conversion rules, but banning semi-lateral shunts; if anyone has a better idea please say so. And hence, my opening move has to be the McWilliams manoeuvre: Harrow-on-the-Hill it is. I eagerly await someone's response! |

I'd venture that someone is clearly bored in the library. ![]() |

I thought about trying a double threadover. I'm told there's strike action pending, though, so I'm just going to recapitulate to Fulham Broadway. |

Ooh, good move Duthie. Reminiscent of the Chelmsford game of 1992... This could be a controversial move, but might yield good results in the end stages, Barbican |

Controversial indeed Charlie; you've left the south-west diagonal open for Tyre! Fortunately I can close it by looping to South Ruislip using the new Jubilee line extension. Score! |
