Ah, good, Moira has also read about the pub!

The general plan for departure is that we will all meet outside the Wolfson Medical School Building (the big glass one) on University Avenue, sometime in the late afternoon, giving us time to get provisions. Once we discuss at committee tonight, I will post here ASAP the following:

1. An exact time for meeting!
2. Drivers of the 'official' cars
3. A tentative list of people in each car
4. The cost of petrol that drivers may claim up to. Do please try to spend less than this if at all possible though!

On a related note, there are still four places up for grabs! If anyone wants to claim one last-minute, you can text me on 07791073352 or find Colin Bryce, or any other member of the committee really who should be able to pass the message on. Cost is still £40; it's a serious bargain, and also, y'know, the most amazing weekend of your life like ever. But whatevs.

Seriously, do it!

Oh yes, and I believe bedding is supplied so no need to bring a sleeping bag this year (woot!) but you should probably bring your own towel. And clothes, and a little food if you want some (but we will be buying main meals for everyone), and music for the car! Check the driver's personal taste. If it's bad, bring your own, otherwise, do rely on them.

And that makes me think, if anyone has any specific dietary requirements please let me or Colin B know (number above!) before tomorrow. Will be in pub, you could just go there of course...

Can you tell I'm excited?!

OK, meeting done! Important points are as follows:

1. If you have one, bring your hoodie! Then we can look like a proper cult, and prove that we are a musical theatre society if anyone asks if we're 'some sort of club'...

2. We will be meeting to leave at 5pm outside the Wolfson Medical School Building (the big glass one) on University Avenue. Try and travel as light as possible. You don't need bedding, but bring a towel. Also bring booze, obviously! You can wrap it in your towel...

3. Arrangements for driving are as follows:

a. DRIVERS ARE: Colin Bryce, Marion Baird, Lorna Moir, Victoria Bianchi, Allan Matthews.

b. ONLY THESE PEOPLE may claim up to £40 for petrol to get them to Invergarry and back. YOU NEED TO BRING ORIGINAL RECEIPTS TO CLAIM PETROL. No-one other than these people will be reimbursed. IF YOU CAN SPEND LESS THAN THIS, PLEASE DO!

c. Colin will bring maps and directions for all drivers, even if it's just a backup to a Sat-Nav system.

d. Car allocations are as follows:

COLIN, Yasmin, Lucy, Susanne
MAZ, Dalester, Fieldhouse, Hydie, Leithinator
LORNA, Rob, Charlie, Kenny, Paul Chalmers
BIANCHI, Esther, McLuskey, Ben
DUKE, Moira, Ana, Jen Halliday, Claire B.

e. Food will be distributed between the cars (within reason). Thus, please at least come to the Medical Building to pick up some food before you leave.

And that's it! I'm excited! Any questions, I'm 07791073352. See you soon!

IMPORTANT: Emergency Amendments!

DRIVERS ARE NOW: Colin Bryce, Marion Baird, Victoria Bianchi, Allan Matthews

CAR PLANS ARE NOW:

MAZ, Sarah , Amy F, Kathryn, Kirsty L
DUKE, Moira, Ana, Jen Halliday, Rob
BIANCHI, McLuskey, Charlie, Claire B
BRYCE, Yasmin, Lucy, Susanne, Kenny

As you can see, we now have one less driver. Thus, Esther and I will join you as soon as we can by some still-to be-revealed mystical method! (Likely a bus, but a magic carpet may materialise, you never know.)

If anyone happens to have a flatmate or friend who can drive and would like to come on the weekend away at reduced price, phone me NOW on 07791073352 - I don't care what time it is when you read this! Then we could have some more rejiggling...

Everything else is the same, so see you tomorrow!

I'm assuming Paul Chalmers is going on the bus with you two and you're not leaving him behind? ;)
