I come bearing lots of information about tickets, which will probably go over the word limit allowed in a post, but we'll see how we get on.

How do I go about ordering tickets?

Very good question. I am able to take ticket orders from the cast every rehearsal from Thursday 12th November. First off, you need some money, and secondly you need to know what date and what kind of ticket you'll be ordering. Ticket prices are £7 for concessions in advance, and £12 for full price. ALL tickets for the matinee are at the concession price. Ticket prices do go up when buying them on the door, so actively encourage all of your friends to buy in advance and save themselves a good £3 for some other use (pint?).

There should be ticket booking forms available soon, but if you have a ticket order then you can track me down by emailing me on tickets@ceciliansociety.co.uk or at rehearsal. If emailing, please include the following information:

Purchase name:
Performance:
Number of tickets Full/concession:
Total Cost:
Cast Member Name:

and I'll get them processed for you.



Are there any other ways of ordering tickets?

You can direct people to http://www.ceciliansociety.co.uk/tickets where they can find out more about ordering tickets, and they'll also find the link where they are able to buy tickets online. A booking fee does apply when ordering online, and at the moment there isn't a place for the buyer to put the name of the cast member that they should apply to for ticket sales. This will hopefully be resolved soon, but if you are sending anyone that way please take a note of their surname and I can add it to your sales

What are charity tickets, and why should I buy them?

Cecilians are lovely people, and each year we invite a local charity to come and see the matinee performance of the show. These seats are bought by the cast members, so the more that you buy, the more that we can give away It's not only a lovely thing to do, it's also a fantastic way to increase your ticket sales. Is your ticket team falling behind? Buy some charity tickets and you might be able to get back in the lead.

You mention ticket teams, what are these glorious things that you speak of?

Each year, we like to promote a little bit of friendly rivalry to encourage ticket sales. This year we're doing an eighties show, and the ticket teams have become eighties too. Each team has a captain and, far more excitingly, a celebrity team captain. Up to show week I will be handing out prizes every now and then for those who have sold the most tickets, and the group that has sold the most tickets. Each team captain is in red, and team captains are there to ensure that their team sells a lot of tickets.

This week you were set the challenge of nominating someone on your team to impersonate your celebrity team captain, and a prize will be given to the best impersonator. I realise that a lot of you were born in the 90s, so have included some handy links to show off the best of your celebrity.

Each team's ticket target is the lovely number of 333, with an individual member target of 22 tickets. The ticket team that sells the most tickets will receive a SPECTACULAR prize at the aftershow, and will be awesome. Prizes will also be given to the principal and chorus member that sell the most tickets.

So get selling! For those of you that have seen the ticket-o-meter, let's try and be at "Naked Time" by Christmas break!

Daly! Daly! I have another stupid question! You know how I'm gonna be buying like, millions of tickets for like, ALL my friends and family, right? Well, I'm like, a bit safety conscious about money and stuff, and that's gonna add up to a fair amount of money, ain't it? So I was thinking, could I like, get them to put the money into my bank account and then write you a cheque to pay for all the millions of tickets I'm gonna buy?

In short, can I pay you by cheque, oh dear Ticket Manager?

Ben! Ben! Yes, you an pay by cheque, just make sure it's made out to 'The Cecilian Society' and given to meeee or if one of you million friends and families want to post it in, then they can send it to:
