Here is what we would like everyone who's in our numbers to have, costume-wise:

Crazy Little Thing Called Love

-Boy Boys: White t-shirt that you can tuck in, preferably quite fitted.
Black trousers.
Black shoes.

-Girl Boys (e.g Kathryn, Sarah, Jen): White t-shirt that you can tuck in, preferably quite fitted.
Black trousers
Black shoes

-Girl Girls: White t-shirt that you can tuck in, preferably quite fitted.
Black cropped trousers/ long trousers rolled up.
Black shoes.
A colourful little neck scarf.

Big Spender

-Black vest top, preferably with lace straps a la Primark pyjama tops.
-Black shorts. Short shorts.
-Black fishnets.
-Black shoes with a heel on them i.e. character shoes

This will all be worn underneath your Crazy Little Thing Called Love costume, apart from the shorts.

Can-Can

-Colourful vest top
-Black big skirt
-Black tights
-Black shoes with a heel e.g. character shoes.

I am getting your frilly knickers. IF YOU ARE HAVING PROBLEMS GETTING THE SKIRT LET ME KNOW BY MONDAY!!!!!!!!!!

Hernandos Hideaway (ole)

-Boys: Black shirt, black trousers and black shoes.

-Girls: Black shirt, black trousers OR black skirt no higher than the knee and black shoes.

If anybody has any problems sourcing any of these costumes, can you please let Dobie or I know on Monday as it is 2 weeks tomorrow till the show. Don't leave it till the last minute, let us know if you're having problems or envisage problems.

Seriously? I'll look like a fucking hippo. This is not going to be sexy...

Is this going to be the order for the set as well?

Does anyone know where to get a big black skirt from, most of the ones i see have been knee length or a kind of straight down gypsy attempt.

There has been a change of costume for the Big Spender girls, you will be pleased to hear Kathryn:

Big Spender

-Black trousers. If you wore black trousers in the previous number (Crazy Lil Thing) then these will do, if you wore black rolled up trousers then roll them down.
-Black shoes with a heel on them i.e. character shoes

The black vest will be worn underneath your Crazy Little Thing Called Love costume, so all you will need to do to change for this number is take off your white t-shirt or roll down your black trousers if you need to.

Claire, yes this should be the running order for Dobie's and my section of the revue. If this changes though I will post on the forum/Facebook page asap.

and change our shoes? is this necessary? It will probably take up too much time for a smooth running order...unless you want Girl Boy dancers in heels in 'Crazy Little Thing...', which is confusing enough!

For Crazy Little Thing, if you are a girl playing a boys part, it is up to you whether or not you wear flat shoes or shoes with a heel, am not fussed. However, if you are in Big Spender after the number then shoes with a heel would be more practical as you will be wearing heeled shoes in Big Spender. So, like I said, all you'll have to do is remove the white t-shirt you'll have on over the black vest (and if you're a girl playing a girls part, which I think is just Victoria, then you'll roll down your trousers). Since Dobie will be doing a bit of a spiel between numbers, there will be enough time for you to remove your top. Then after Big Spender it's the Can-Can, which means you have time to put a black shirt on for Hernando's Hideaway.
