This Sunday (22nd June), there will be a Gala on Gibson Street (near Kelvingrove Park) as part of the West End Festival. There's going to be lots of stuff going on, in particular "A Breath of Fresh Air" in St Silas Church. It's an afternoon of free treats - fairtrade tea, coffee, chocolate, cookies and home baking, massage (for the head, neck, shoulder, foot, hand and arm), music, video games, activities for kids and space to just chill out and relax.
"A Breath of Fresh Air" is from 2pm to 6:30pm, and at 6:30pm there will be "Breathing Space", an eclectic mix of Christian word, worship and music with tea, coffee and biscuits afterwards. If you've ever wondered what this Christian thing is really all about, "Breathing Space" should help you find some answers!
I'm going to be at both events and it would be great to see you there!
