Hello, I am a researcher at Oxford University and I'm carrying out some research with Professor Claridge (professor at Oxford on psychological disorders) on the creative ability of actors and how this ability may be associated with traits related to psychological disorders. We're trying to get a large sample of actors to fill out the questionnaire, unfortunately without much success so far. I was hoping that, if possible and not too much trouble, you could send an e-mail to members of your society encouraging them to fill out an online questionnaire which should take no more than ten minutes. We've already carried out the study with comedians and many of them found it very relevant to their everyday experiences and wanted to know their individual score (which I can provide). So hopefully it would be something interesting for the society members to fill in, rather than yet another boring psychology questionnaire!
